Getting any old regular physical will have your doctor, of course, check your heart and lungs by monitoring your blood pressure and using a stethoscope to monitor your pulse. However, careers that are challenging for the human body warrant more specialized testing, and this is especially the case if your medical history indicates heart or lung problems.

These cardiovascular and pulmonary exams can be anywhere from electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, echocardiograms, gas diffusion tests, and many more.

Infectious Disease Test

Other occupations, such as those in the medical field, can also ask you to take tests that make sure your body is not subject to infectious diseases like tuberculosis, rubella, hepatitis, and measles. If your vaccines are up to date, these tests should be no problem for you.
